Definition of a Cadet: a competitor is considered as a
cadet from: 1st of January in the year he/she will be 15 years
old to the 1st of January in the year he/she will be 17 years old
(practically born in 2002 - 2003).
Definition of a
Youth U-21: a competitor is considered as a Youth U-21 from the
date of birth he/she will be 18 years old to the 1st of Januaryin
the year he/she will be 22 years old (practically born between
01/01/1997 – 23/11/2000)
Definition of an open
adults category: a competitor is considered as adults open from
the date of birth he/she will be 18 years old or over.
Definition
of Test Team-Kata category: a competitor is considered as member
of Test Team Kata from the date of birth he/she will be 18 years
old or over. A team can contain 3 members + an additional 4th
member where for each bout 3 members will be joining the kata.
The team can contain male and female members and it is not
necessary to include at least one member from each gender. (It
doesn't have to be a mixed team, but it can be.)
Limit is 2 participants per country in each category, country organizer has one extra participant in each category. Additionally in open category also can participate all the medal winners of EKO and WKO Adults Championships in weight and open categories. All World and European adult championships medal winners can’t participate in the U21 championship. Participant, who take part in the U21 championship, can’t to participate in the Adult open weight championship on the next day.
The Competitions will follow the rules and conditions of European Karate Organization EKO. Adults open weight category participant must be min. 4th kyu, bouts time: preliminary bouts 3 min; 2 min; scale; 2 min, form quarterfinals 3 min.; 2 min.; 2 min.; scale, tameshiwari; 2 min. U16 category participant must be min. 7th kyu, all bouts time is 1,5 min.; 1,5 min.; 1,5 min. (no scale). U21 category participant must be min.6th kyu, all bouts time is 2 min.; 2 min.; 2 min. (no scale). All participants are obliged to present EKO passport with valid license. (a competitor can be asked for proof of age by producing an ID card or country passport.) All competitors are also requested to present a written medical certificate indicating that he or she is physically fit and healthy and his/her insurance documents. All women must to present certificate of non-pregnant state signed by doctor (valid 1 month). All competitors must fill and present responsibility statement declaration for participation in the tournament (available to download from the website.
Cadets U16, U21 category: 1st , 2nd , 3rd -3rd places: trophies, medals, certificates
Adults Open category: 1st to 8th places: trophies, medals, certificates
Best technique: trophy and certificate
Best kyokushin spirit: trophy and certificate,
All competitors: certificate of participation, and more special awards.

Accommodation, flight tickets, transportation and meals for all participants shall be covered by their National Organization or by their Club or by the participant him/herself.
